The 3M™ PELTOR™ X5 Earmuffs are the highest-attenuating earmuffs in the 3M X Series, offering exceptional hearing protection in high-noise industrial environments. With an impressive noise reduction of up to 36–37 dB, these earmuffs deliver top-tier performance without requiring double protection.
Designed for all-day comfort and reliability, the X5 features a wide, electrically insulated (dielectric) headband, ensuring both strength and safety in electrical environments. The earmuffs’ colour-coded black design makes it easy for users and safety managers to identify the protection level in use.
Equipped with specially formulated foam earcups, innovative spacers, and large, soft foam ear cushions, the 3M X5 provides superior noise attenuation while maintaining excellent balance, lightweight wearability, and compatibility with other PPE. The earmuffs also come with easy-to-replace cushions and foam inserts, available via hygiene kits, to extend the product's life and ensure optimal performance over time.
